Cookie Manager Training

This email comes from Karol Leggett, the volunteer who heads up cookies sales for our service unit.  She is your Go To Woman for (almost) all questions related to cookie sales.  Her email is kmomleg@bellsouth.net.

The main thing you need to know right now is that your Troop Cookie Manager (aka TCM) has to get trained!  Here are the details:


"I am sending this with my 2011 Cookie Mom email list… I will be updating it and sending this email out again, but to get a jump on this I am starting here…

ALL Troop Cookie Mom’s have to complete Troop Cookie Manager Training…. Even if you have been a cookie mom for many years… due to the changes with our cookie sale starting this year.  Your cookie materials (order forms, etc) will be given to you at this meeting.. I (the Service Unit Cookie manager) Does not have any materials to give to you… so again, you must complete 1 of the TCM trainings…

This is the link to the form you will complete (and save as your first/last name) and then you will email/mail/fax to the name on the top of the form…. This is the only way you can get registered for the class.


The classes that are local that you can attend are….
For existing TCM (who have completed 1 year of TCM before)
October 29- Hoover- Prince of Peace Church- 6-8pm
November 3- Irondale- Guiding Light Church- 10-12noon or 1:30-3:30pm
November 5th- Birmingham- Thirgood Memorial CME Church- 6-8pm
November 8th- Trussville- First United Methodist Church- 7-9pm
November 10th –Alabaster- Westwood Baptist Church- 9-11am
November 15th- Birmingham- Birmingham Sevice Center- 9:30-11:30am & 6:30-8pm

I would recommend getting registered ASAP…

IF YOU OR YOUR TROOP COOKIE MANAGER IS A NEW tcm THEN THEY NEED TO ATTEND “COOKIE Rookie training” and these are the dates…..
October 20th- Gardendale- Mt Vernon United Methodist- 10m-noon & 1:30-3:30pm
Monday – November 5, 2012 , 9:30am – 11:30am- Birmingham Service Center
Saturday November 10, 2012 2:00pm – 4:00pm- Birmingham Service Center

If you are wondering where these location are please google them, or call the Birmingham Office.. I am not the source to find this out.. I have no idea!!!

Please pass this information on to whoever may need it.. if you will NOT be the TCM this year then please send it to  your troop leader and the person that will be the TCM….
